In times of grief and loss, our faith provides great comfort and hope. The community at St. Joseph and the wider Cedar Rapids Catholic community are here to support you in the grieving process. There are multiple opportunities to find help and support in order to work toward healing.
St. Joseph periodically offers the opportunity to participate in our H.U.G.S.
“Helping Us Grieve Safely” program, which is a recovery-learning group held in a safe, welcoming, and confidential setting. You will be given valuable guidance leading to healing, comfort, and peace of mind through a weekly session led by a facilitator who has walked this journey too.
A spiritually-based booklet is furnished at no charge. Each week will have a specific topic. You may attend all or part of the 7-week program.
This is open to all adults: individuals, parents, adult children, spouses, siblings, etc.
Advanced registration is appreciated, but not required.
