Vacation Bible School 2012

Come trekking with us at the Sonrise National Park Where All Trails Lead to Jesus. Registration for VBS begins March 9th and closes June 22 2012. Come explore this awesome wilderness adventure were the children will enjoy the snow capped mountains, thundering waterfalls, wildflower meadows and amazing animals. The children will be experiencing high-energy games, cool wilderness crafts, delicious snacks, great music and fun-loving skits. As the children explore and experience this great endeavor they will learn the most important survival skill of all: they can always depend on Jesus and his promises of true peace, true riches, true power, true love, and true hope. We hope you come trekking with us on the trails of Sonrise National Park where all trails lead to Jesus. My God will fully supply whatever you need, in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19

The adventure begins Monday, July 9th and concludes on Friday July 13th running from 9am until noon each day

Here are some important things to know:

VBS week: July 9 to the 13th at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marion, Iowa

Registration begins March 9th and closes June 22nd

Registration will close early if we reach our maximum number of children

Registration after June 22nd will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Register EARLY! The first 20 families to register will be in a drawing for:

*3 families will receive free VBS music CD

*2 families will get to sit in the front row pews during our closing
celebration on Friday July 13th at 5:30 pm.

*The children from the first 2 families to sign up will be able to help during the opening and closing assemblies throughout the week.

Registration fee is 25.00 per child or 60.00 per family. Sonrise National park music CDs are $5.00.
Checks made out to Saint Joseph Church with VBS written in the memo.

Registration must be completed online and YOUR registration PAYMENT MAILED or DELIVERED to the MAIN OFFICE at SAINT JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH or SAINT JOSEPH CATHOLIC SCHOOL (can't pay online).

We need a LOT of volunteers to make VBS successful. If you would like to VOLUNTEER, please click on the word volunteer. Daycare is provided for free for volunteer's children that are too young to participate in our Vacation Bible School program.
