(319) 377-4869 To guide and direct parish faith formation through careful supervision, redemptive listening, and open dialogue (with the Youth Faith Formation Staff and prayerful planning with the Faith Formation Commission) so that all populations in the parish have the opportunity to grow in their relationships with God and this Christian community. When called upon, to respectfully teach as Jesus did {in scripture study, classroom encounters, writing, preaching, and pastoral counseling,} so that people can imagine, grasp, and live more fully the Kingdom of God. To companion people in their discernment of charisms (spiritual gifts) so they might derive greater joy and contentment in serving God’s creation. To continuously engage personal learning and formational opportunities so that I can be the most conscientious servant of God’s Kingdom as it is being experienced in my home, workplace, and arenas of recreation. |
