Deanery Council

The Deanery Council representative participates in and sits on the Cedar Rapids Deanery Council as well as the Saint Joseph Parish Pastoral Council. The Deanery Council exists as a means of communication between parish councils and the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, and also as a vehicle for the development of interparish relationships. The Deanery Council provides a structure for communication at the grass-roots parish level. The Deanery Council representative is to be intimately aware of and have a working knowledge of the local parish structure, including all of the standing committees of the parish pastoral council and parish programs. The Deanery Council representative is a gatherer of information and a true ambassador of the local parish to the Archdiocese. Our Deanery Council representative is Bob Celichowski.
